Marvel Studios Announces A Ton Of Details On Phase Two Films!

Robert Downey Jr. stopped by the kids Iron Man costume contest and the new Iron Man armor

On the con floor we get a look at Iron Man's new armor!

Here is RDJ entrance to Hall H

Footage shown was first of Iron Man in new armor and dancing around.
We see Stark's house destroyed, so he ends up with no more armor and has to start from scratch. Finally we see Sir Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin, yup he is the big baddie of the film.
He is described to look just like he does in the comics as well.

Not much was mentioned about Thor but we got a title.

Captain America:The Winter Soldier, is announced and  will hit the big screen April Fourth of 2014. Variety reports Sebastian Stan will return to reprise his role as Bucky Barnes who "Dies" and turns into the villain Winter Soldier, who later becomes  Captain America.

Variety is also saying that  Anthony Mackie will join the cast of Captain America in the film's sequel.  He is being rumored to play Cap's new best friend Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. This film looks to focus on Cap's friendships.

Guardians of the Galaxy was announce but most knew it was coming. What also was shown was concept art of the main team.

Guardians of the Galaxy concept art.  Looks like Groot, Rocket Racoon, Drax, Gamora, and Starlord.

Edgar Wright showed up to confirm Ant-Man is on!

In fact he debuted some test footage and here is it is described:
"The footage began with a shot of a long, white hallway with two armed guards standing at one end, guarding an elevator. The camera tracks back and goes through a grate where we see Ant-Man for the first time. He quickly leaps out of the gate – the effects weren’t 100% complete – and lands on the ground, still tiny, and starts running towards the guards. He then hits a button to become normal sized and the guards react quickly and start firing at him. Ant-Man then leaps in the air, shrinks to avoid the bullets, jumps on one of the guard’s guns and then leaps to punch the guard in the face (which causes his cheek to ripple and makes his entire body get thrown against a back wall). Ant-Man then get back to normal size and punches the other guard through a glass window. He then hits the button on the elevator and as the doors open we hear some musick as he steps in, turns towards the camera, and the doors close."

Simon Peg showed on Twitter when the film would be shooting but that is all we learned. We still  do not know anything about what Ant-Man we will see but if Peg gets in this we may see Eric O'Grady.

With all this being setup makes me think Marvel Studios will have some amazing panels next year.

Punisher Short Made By Thomas Jane Without Marvel's Help

In my opinion Thomas Jane was the best Punisher. Acting and looks wise. The only thing about his movie is that it was a little over the top silly. Warzone film for me tried to hard and didnt give the essence of a Punisher movie and I didnt feel Ray Stevenson was Punisher, it was Jane.

What is awesome is Jane has always had a soft spot for the character and works close with former Punisher artist Tim Bradstreet. The two announced they would bring something big to Comic Con 2012 that would make the Hollywood big wigs very upset.

Well they did do something a little extreme, well by Hollywood standards. The short is called Dirty Laundry. It of course starred Thomas Jane and we also see  Ron Perlman  in the film. The film starts with  Hans Zimmer's score from Dark Knight which is odd and we see Jane in a rough area. Trouble brews and we see his true colors. It ends hinting that we witnessed Frank Castle at work, the whole time.

Marvel may not like him making his own Punisher short film but this short is better than all three that have already been made. Let Jane and his crew make the next film. If you want to get involved sign here.

Update!!!Deadpool Video Game Is a Secret Announced At San Diego Comic Con

Rumor is at this panel:
1:45-2:45 Marvel Video Games? Learn all about Gazillion's Marvel Heroes MMO, Ubisoft's Avengers: Battle for Earth and more future Marvel games-including an announcement from Activision and High Moon Studios that is sure to be a hit! Q&A will follow. Room?*6A

Deadpool game will be announced along with Hit Monkey Video Game.
I don't think there is a Hit Monkey game to be announced, I think he will be in the Deadpool game and him getting his own game was a tease for the Merc With the Mouth.

UPDATE!!!
Like we called it, the Deadpool game is announce and looks bonerific.

Sir Ian McKellen Visits Fans Camping Outside SDCC Hall H

The Hobbit will have their panel tomorrow at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, in Hall H. The man known for his roles in X-men and Lord Of The Rings surprised fans a little after midnight to tell fans "thank you" for camping out for his upcoming movie The Hobbit.

                                                             Very cool Sir, very cool.

David Letterman spoil the ending of "The Dark Knight Rises" while Interviewing Anne Hathaway

Yup you read that right! David Letterman let the crazy ending slip out of his mouth.

He tries to discuss the ending of the 'The Dark Knight Rises' with Anne Hathaway and all she can do is stare back at him in shock.

The big secret was the ending and you can tell that Anne did not know what to do at the moment.

For those who want to be spoiled I will put the clip below:

Is this a hoax or the real deal?

Sara Jean Underwood Steps Up Her Cosplay

Sara Jean Underwood Dresses up for Comic Con
Egotastic has listed the hot woman of comic con so far and I am very impressed with G4's  Sara Jean Underwood cosplay choice. Very cool idea of being  Daenerys Targaryen From Game Of Thrones.

Jessica Biel cast In The Wolverine

Deadline has announced Jessica Biel has been cast as Victoria/Viper in The Wolverine

This is the sequel to Wolverine Origins. Viper is described as "a complex character who at one point was a peer of Logan's as well as an enemy. She was a major player in criminal organization Hydra and, in one story arc, blackmailed Logan/Wolverine into marrying her."

In the comics Viper later turns into Madame Hydra and clashes with the Avengers, but I doubt we will see her crossover into those films since they are owned by two different film companies.

TheLethalWeapon97 VS Comicbookmovie.com

It all started from the video above.
A young kid thought he was being treated unfair and decided to make a video about it. It dealt with the site known as Comicbookmovie.com. Now I have heard of the site but it is one of those sites that let users bring the news. So most articles are just taken from Bleedingcool.com or Latinoreview.com. but it seems like a great place to talk comic book movies none the less.

This kid goes by catalyst in his YouTube video and explains how he thinks he has been treated unfair.
Jim Littler, cofounder of ComicBookMovie.com also known as "Galactus" decided to take his battle with the kid to his website and wrote this:

"Hi gang. Galactus here.

Recently, late in the night (coward), a disgruntled ex-user whom I had previously banned for constantly disparaging the site was able to get back in with a new IP address and post a Youtube video of himself ragging (again) on our beloved ComicBookMovie.com. His rant was a common one I've heard many times before, "My article was deleted unfairly ... An editor stole my news story ... and ... ComicBookMovie is biased."

(If you want to see the whole whiny thing, you can see it on YouTube HERE.)

I used to allow these negative "editorials" to stay up on the site mainly to show everybody that we could take honest criticism, and that we wanted user's input to improve the site, but I decided after awhile that most of these complaint articles weren't really "honest" at all because they contained quite a few false assumptions, and misleading accusations, as well as a misunderstanding about how we run things here. In fact, most of the whiners have not taken the time to read our style guide or learn the ropes. They just immediately want their work to appear on the homepage whether or not the article meets any of our guidelines.

So, while we try and address any concern that users bring up, I no longer allow CBM-bashing articles unless they expose a REAL issue that we want to debate in the comment section. "

Yeahhh. Kind of harsh. I mean I get it he says people are too sensitive but as an owner of a site he should know he will get every kind of

The top writers of the site decided to post on twitter and make fun of the poor kid. This didn't seem professional at all.

On fan of the site pointed out how the co-owner "Galactus" was behaving in response to peoples opinions on the site. He didn't seem to like it. He claims it is not a "Democracy",which is fine but makes it seem like if you disagree with him or his main editors your dead! Well maybe not dead but he was throwing out some bans as well.

^^^@Galactus

This is why people are pissed. I've been coming here for years. I love this site. It beats the hell outta Superherohype and we all know it. If I got banned (and almost did for flamming someone so hard she went crying to Galactus and he deleted every comment I ever made) I'd make a new IP just to be on here.

That being said, I can understand the kids frustration. He obviously loves coming here and it didn't sound whiny at all but a valid statement. I've had the displeasure of having my article deleted for a regular user and I was pissed, but I kept trying and eventually I made it to the front page. I was for the Batman Arkham City comic. Anyway, I understand his frustration.

The problem here is that Galactus, whom I've actually spoken with and know his real name, is acting a bit ridiculous here. If you didn't want people to call you out on something wrong you've done why even make this article at all? It's pointless.

I understand voicing your opinion but you being the owner or co-owner of this site, you have to show a bit more maturity than the 12 - 40 some-odd-year-olds on here. You can delete my account. It doesn't matter. I'll be on here the next day with a new IP cause I love this site but you're better than this.

Real power comes from not giving a damn about criticism and being able to let things roll off your back. Again we love this site but all this is childish. Please don't let it happen again.

Galactus Insert: You (and) others need to understand that this is NOT a democracy. While I have opened the door to all comic book movie fans, and invited you all in, you are still in MY HOUSE. I (and Nate) make the rules. I'm sorry if that is too harsh for some of your sensitivities, but it IS the bottom line, and there is nothing wrong with saying that.

One of the bigger writers Josh Wilding, kept on making fun of the kid as he post one of the kids fanmade movies based of "Ultimate Spider-Man":

"Just in case any of you needed any more convincing, the kid who made the videos bitching about CBM is a little...strange. "

Again I get they are upset someone called them out but come on, they can leave the kid alone. It is done and over.

The site seems to be filled with older guys, so it may not be the best place for kids under 18 years of age. The third comment on the page reads:

"That kid is like 12 lol. Some people are so sensitive. Once he actually touches a woman I assume he will stop caring about things such as hit article getting deleted on a comic book movie website."

Another commenter wrote:
"The kid isn't pathetic. Just misguided. I'm guessing he's 14 or 15. Back then, I thought that everything that I wrote was [frick]ing gold, but the truth is much of my writing was riddled with grammatical errors. That's probably what Galactus, JW, and Ror are referring too. Also, EVERYONE who's against Galactus seems to be missing the POINT! This is his website! Not yours! He pays the bills! Not you! Writing articles is a privilege. If people think they would be so much better at running a site like comicbookmovie then create your own site and see how it works. I'm pretty sure many of you who think Galactus is being harsh would whine like babies if so much negativity is directed towards you. And specifically towards those whiners, chill the [frick] out. There are more important things in life than being first on posting an article. If you really want to work for Galactus and comicbookmovie, why not email him a sample article in and conduct yourself in a civilized manner? Let him decide. And if you don't like the decision, as I alluded to before, start your own site!"
Most parents wouldn't want there kids to hear these kind of things said about or to their son.

I just think the site went about this all wrong and by reading all the comments in the article it seems the site is split down the middle on the matter.Instead of dealing with this behind the scenes they decided to make an example of this guy. Did he have it coming? Maybe it is a matter of opinion but that's what makes this nation so great. We all can say what we want but at the same time it depends on whose house your in. This is in Comicbookmovie's house and if you say something they don't like they will get rid of you.

Is this some kind of abuse of power? Sure but they have a right too. That being said fans also have a right to choose a site that let's them voice their opinion.

Did Marvel Leak An Image That Reveals Big Details Of Their Future

From Newsarama:

"Entertainment Weekly's promised article on the post-Avengers vs. X-Men Marvel Universe may have leaked online late Monday night, including a reputed scan of the full version of the Joe Quesada piece featuring Jean Grey in her original costume."

So we have the X-men and Avengers uniting? Cyclops with a new look? Nick Fury Jr. playing a bigger role? And yes the return of Jean Grey...
