The Office Spin-Off, The Farm Will Star Dwight And His Family

Looks like Rain Wilson is getting an upgrade. NBC is bringing  The Farm  a spin off from The Office.
This is the first image from the show.
Dwight will be surrounded by his family members.
Here is the list of the family members joining the show:

FANNIE SCHRUTE | Attractive, urban and in her late 20s/early 30s, Dwight’s younger sister fled the Schrute farm life for Boston as soon as she could, and has had little to do with her roots for quite some time. Now divorced with one son, Fannie is “a bit of a pseudo-intellectual lefty” with an ironic sense of humor and a great heart.
JEB SCHRUTE | Dwight’s easygoing thirtysomething brother hasn’t done well in any of the career paths he’s followed – worm breeder and Bigfoot hunter among them — but has found some success with a pot farm. He’s got none of Dwight’s dedication or work ethic, but he has made an exercise video about things you can do with a knife and a canoe. (We like him already.)
CAMERON WHITMAN | Dwight’s smart and slightly weird 9-year-old nephew (Fannie’s son) is a cosmopolitan lad who nevertheless feels the pull of his Schrute heritage, especially when he’s around someone — his uncles, perhaps? — who can offer the fatherly guidance he lacks.
HEINRICH MANHEIM | The Schrute siblings’ great uncle is charming, greedy, manipulative… and just may have had to spend time in Argentina following World War II, thanks to his German National Socialist roots. Oh, and he vows to kill Dwight by the end of the first episode.

Marvel’s Secret 2014 Movie Revealed!

Most Marvel fans kind of saw this movie coming...

We have heard about it for some time but now the inter-web has spoken! Rumor has it at this year's San Diego Comic Con, we will hear the announcement of 'Guardians Of The Galaxy'.

To sum it up, it is basically Avengers in Space but with space oriented characters.

Story is this will continue from us seeing Thanos as the big baddie at the end of 'The Avengers' and now we will see him battle the Guardians before he faces the Avengers.
Latinoreview.com reports:

  • will be announced as Marvel’s second 2014 movie at Comic Con
  • - Thanos is in it.
  • - It will “lead up to” The Avengers 2 in 2015.
  • - ”THE SCRIPT IS INCREDIBLE”

It looks like this is an alphabetical order, So Dr.Strange and Guardians are next.

Who do I think will be in it?

Nova has never been a real deal Guardian but come on he runs all over space and bumps into these guys. Plus he is a huge character in the new Spider-Man cartoon series and a character in Marvel VS Capcom 3.

All the Guardians that appeared in 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes'  I expect to be in the film.

Star Lord, Adam Warlock, Groot, Rocket Raccoon and Quasar.

I am ready for some Groot and Rocket CGI!

Spidey Getting a Sidekick!

So do celebrate Spider-Man's 50th anniversary, he is getting a sidekick.
Fox news reports:
"In this story, we find that Peter Parker's days as photographer for the Daily Bugle are behind him and he's now a scientist at a research firm. Andy is part of a student field trip that visits Parker's lab. He's in the wrong place (or perhaps the right place) at the wrong time when Parker's invention malfunctions and zaps him with great power. Parker - haunted by the way he got his own super abilities and how his failure to use them led to the murder of his beloved Uncle Ben so many years ago - feels an even greater responsibility to help young Andy. He feels he must help him discover his powers and teach him how to use them responsibly."

Spider-Man getting a Robin?
Not sure how I feel?

Hyundai Anti-Zombie Car

Design Craft and Robert Kirkman designed a zombie survival car from the  Hyundai Elantra Coupe.

Never cared for a Hyundai but this car is the bees knees ( what the hell does that mean any way).It will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con this Summer, along with vinyl wrap of The Walking Dead #100 cover edition.

Carl Stay In The Damn House!

For all those who love The Walking Dead TV Series, there a few things we hated. Shane, Lori and of course Carl. As a reader of the book, I always felt Carl is played out a lot different then I read him. He turned into a kid learning about death and life, to a brat who wants to kill everything. And on top of it all he never listens!

The show runner of the show explains the kids stupidity:

"Everyone wants to know why Carl's not in the house," he said. "Well, it's boring to sit in a house. And he's a little boy and he wants to mix it up and stuff. And he's walking through the woods and finds a zombie trapped in the mud and he starts doing what any Huck Finn would do and starts throwing rocks at the monster. And then later that is the same zombie that pulls itself free and kills Dale. And the writers were very nervous about that, you know? It feels earned, but it's a risk. Because Dale is a beloved character and if this other character is involved and responsible for that death, is the audience going to now hate Carl? But I thought the story was worth the chance."

No, that boy is just dumb.

ZombU Steps Up Big

Okay, okay first of all Nintendo is the pioneer of the gaming industry.
Fans love playing there games but for the fun and fantasy appeal.
There have not been to many games that Nintendo releases that are blood filled and most hardcore gamers won't even play a Nintendo system because they think it is kiddie.

Well ZombiU for the Wii U looks like they may be pushing in the mature gaming direction.

Film makers Share Their Thoughts On Nolan's Batman

No matter what online forum I go to that is talking about any Nolan Batman film it turns into a Marvel VS DC war.

Look point blank, i am a die heart Marvel fan. Growing up reading comics, I could relate to Marvel's characters more than DC. I am not saying DC's characters are bad but it is hard to put yourself in their shoes when they have the power of gods.

That being said, I still love me some Batman. Batman has always made sense and I could relate to this character. Not in the aspect of, I dress up and fight crime but we understand what he is going through and don't fault him for what he does.

So yes growing up I was a Marvel but slash Batman fan. When I see a Avengers vs Dark knight Rises debate I just don't get it.

First the DKR has not even came out to compare but I am opened and wishful that it will be good.
Avengers in my opinion was amazing and DKR has a lot of competition...in the money department.
As a fan can't we appreciate both.

Nolan has done a lot for comic movie world and we should appreciate it.

I am a Marvel fan though and through but Batman is the shit.

Other filmmakers and producers chimed in recently

Tim Burton

"I like Chris Nolan's Batman movies. It kind of makes me laugh because I got so much shit for being too dark and now, with him, it's like, 'Lucky you.' But that's the way it should be. I wish I hadn't had to go through quite so much torture. They weren't used to that mood then. Comic books were supposed to be light. I did what I wanted to do and it seemed different at the time. And what he did has become normal."

I miss the 1989 Tim Burrton, not the lets cast Johnny Depp in every film and paint him white Burton.

Gareth Edwards

"When I've watched The Dark Knight more analytically, as a filmmaker, I've noticed things that go against the way we're supposed to do them. Like there's music throughout that movie, yet they pull it right out during the really intense chase scenes and it has a strange effect of making those moments really grounded and believable and more exciting. It's stuff like that that really sets it apart from other blockbusters. And I'm really pleased the movie was such a success because never again can a studio underestimate the audience."

Gareth needs to do a Fantastic Four movie, talk to the guy below.

Kevin Feige

"The success and quality of The Dark Knight was just as important for Marvel as it was for all the people involved in that movie. I look back at the summer of 2008 as a two-hander between Iron Manand The Dark Knight, and I think they both really announced, 'Okay, this is not a fad, this genre is here to stay.' After The Dark Knight, we didn't fall into a trap of saying, 'Woah, audiences like dark and gritty! Make Thor dark and gritty, make Captain America dark and gritty!' But I think it showed how diverse these movies can be. I root for ever single one of the comic book movies that aren't ours. I hope every one is great and when they're not, it's disappointing, because people don't always make the distinction between DC and Marvel."

Drew Goddard

"The greatest villain of all time is The Joker - he always has been and I don't know anyone who's not going to have Heath Ledger's performance burnt into their brains for the rest of their lives. And the thing about Chris that I admire so much is that he's not afraid to talk up to the audience, rather that down to the audience. He makes a gorgeous film; he makes an elegant and intelligent film, and that's the sort of thing that they didn't used to do with the superhero genre."

Zack Snyder

"What Chris did with that movie was he made our mythology mean something to us. Batman is no longer a man in a suit. He's us. But it's not a repeatable thing, as far as tone and mood go. The Dark Knight Rises can be that again, but other superhero movies can't because they don't have the balls. That tone is transcendent. That's a movie anyone can see and say, 'I understand that mythology instantly'"

God I hope Superman will be good, he always bored me to pieces.
Rupert Wyatt

"I think audiences, especially at that particular moment in time, were facing a certain reality check. Foreign wars, a crumbling economy - and the actor who played the villain met a really, premature, tragic death before the movie came out. All of those things combined to make a very zeitgeist film. I referenced it all the time during the making of Apes, in terms of my hopes for people understanding the idea was to make a film that really dealt with our world. Warner Bros. has done a huge amount, especially with that particular film and Christopher Nolan, to make other studios give other filmmakers the opportunity to tell really intelligent, well thought-out character dramas on that kind of scale."

If this guy is so into heroes he needs to get on a comic movie before they are all directed by Snyder.

We now get to see what the Governor looks like!

But he doesn't look like him...
I dig the actor and enjoyed him in Doctor Who but why didn't they at least him look like the Governor in the comic.

Still looking forward next season of Walking Dead though.
P.S Kill Lori
thanks

Avengers Vs X-Men #5 Review

Now on the moon the Avengers and the X-men square of as Hope excepts the Phoenix in her. The only problemis once it consumes her, she realizes that Wolverine is right and that the power is too much. She begs Wolverine to take her out but of course Cyclops has to go crazy and shoot him. Does this guy not remember what happen to his wife? Scott's ignorance is making him very annoying.

Tony Stark and Hank Pym are working on their solution to the Phoenix force and it is basically an Iron Man Megazord. Now I am not sure what it is supposed to do, as in if it is suppose to absorb the power or just blast it? Either way Tony calls upon his Dragonzord and takes the Phoenix on. Everyone wakes up roasted and burnt from the impact of Iron Man and the Phonenix. My question is how are Hawkeye and Black Widow alive? These others are superpowered but these two not so much? Well after the explosion we find the the Phoenix force has spread to Magik, Collossus, Emma Frost, Namor and batcrazy Cyclops who loves what just happen. The Leader than decides to take Hope to Earth to save her and rebirth more mutants. Cyclops ha now gone beyonf insane. The world looks like they are in trouble.

I mean the story is okay but we are entering a part were the story needs to pick up because I feel like we are going down and are hearing the same crap over and over.

And seeing Cyclops and his homies all Power Rangered out seems a bit boring. I really want this to be good but they need to pick up the pace.

The Phoenix breaks off into 5 pieces and these X-men get the power?

Allow me to introduce myself....

First off I have horrible Grammar and love to write. I think it is a bit ridicky donkey of me wanting to want to write as a career, when I am so bad. To put it simply, I like to talk. Well, that doesn't make to much sense, since I am typing this but you get what I mean. I have a lot on my mind. In a world were we get to see people vent on Facebook or Tumblr about what ever, why not care over all my nerdy thoughts here. I will be first to admit I am obsessed with pop culture. This list starts with super heroes, comics, movies, video games and TV shows but a lot of things will fit into the middle. I shout out Allons-y , feel I am a zombie expert after reading the Walking Dead and would sign up for the Weapon X program if it was real  at the drop of a hat.

I bleed nerd blood and now a days that is okay. I have dreams of writing fro comics, cartoons and movies but I just write for a pop culture website at the moment. I figure while I work on all my other projects why not carry on with a blog that lets me talk a bit deeper in the pop culture news, I dish and have a place to call my own.

This will be my new home. Come listen to me vent.

Allons-y
